Scam Red Flag List

Keep this checklist handy. If a project or person does any of these things, it is almost certainly a scam. Protect your assets by walking away.

1. They guarantee profits

In crypto, no one can guarantee a return. If they say "zero risk" or "guaranteed yield", they are lying.

2. They ask for your seed phrase

Support staff will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Never type it into a website to "verify" your wallet.

3. They create fake urgency

"Send funds in the next 10 minutes or lose your account!" Scammers want you to panic so you do not think clearly.

4. Unsolicited direct messages

If a stranger messages you on social media offering to help you trade or claiming you won a giveaway, it is a scam.
